Follow these three easy steps to connect with potential contractors:
Step 1: Company Information
After clicking 'Add Company' in the top right of your Partners page, a window will open where you will enter Company Information for the contractor. In this first step, you'll provide essential information about the new partner's company, including:
- Company name
- Location
- Website
- Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Trade Information
Fill out the required fields with the relevant company details and click "Continue" to proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Check for Matching Companies
We'll check if the company already exists in Highwire. If we find any matching companies, they will be presented to you for review. This prevents duplicate entries and ensures you have all the necessary information readily available.
Review the list of potential matching companies and select the appropriate one. If your partner is not on the list, you can add them as a new company in Highwire. Click "Continue" to proceed to step 3.
Step 3: Add Contact Information
In this final step, provide the contact information for your new partner, which is crucial for sending the connection request.
- If you selected an existing company in step 2, you have the option to provide new contact information or select from a list of existing contacts.
- If you did not find any matching companies in step 2, simply add the new contact's information.
Click the "Add Partner" button to complete the process.
Confirmation and Follow-up
Congratulations! You've successfully added your new partner to your portfolio. An email will be sent to the new partner, notifying them of your interest in connecting. Our team of specialists will follow up with them to ensure a smooth and successful connection.
Please note that this feature is available by default only to specific user roles. Users with administrative access to modify user roles can grant access to the "Add Partner" feature for specific user roles under the "Partners" section of user role configuration.
