From the Partners tab in the left-hand navigation, clients can easily access all of the information they need to understand the performance of their contractors, from both a big-picture view as well as a detailed, granular view. The information that can be accessed as you drill down into the Partners tab is what we collectively refer to as the Partner pages.
Partners Landing Page
The landing page that a client sees when they access “Partners” from the left navigation provides a high-level list that summarizes key information for all connected contractors. The critical information that is immediately visible includes the company name, trades, projects, and completion status for Company Information, Safety, and Finance (if Finance is used by the client).
Like all list views in the Highwire application, a user will have the ability to use the filter functionality to refine their list. The four primary filters are Projects, Trades, Flags, and Approval Status. If you’d like to set a filter, you simply click the dropdown arrow, 𝖵, make your specific selection(s) and click anywhere outside of the filter box. You will immediately notice that your list of contractors has been filtered to only show those contractors who meet the filter criteria. You’ll also notice a Clear button appear to the right; note that the filters will remain set until you’ve hit the Clear button.
To the right of the filters, you’ll see the Search functionality. This is a simple way to find one specific Partner that you are interested in. Simply type in their name or a portion of their name and hit enter and your list view will be filtered accordingly.
The Partners view is also where a client can easily connect to a new contractor. To initiate the process of adding a new contractor, simply click “Add Partner” in the top right of the Partners page:
A window will open where you will enter Company Information for the new contractor. In this first step, you'll provide essential information, including:
- Company name
- Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Trade Information
Once you’ve filled out the required fields click "Continue":
The system will automatically check if the contractor already exists in Highwire. Any potentially matching companies will be presented to you for review. This prevents duplicate entries and ensures you have all the necessary information readily available.
Review the list of potentially matching companies and select the appropriate one. If your contractor is not on the list, you can add them as a new company in Highwire. Click "Continue" to proceed.
In the final step, you will provide the contact information for your new contractor, which is crucial for sending the connection request.
- If you selected an existing company in step 2, you have the option to provide new contact information or select from a list of existing contacts.
- If you did not find any matching companies in step 2, simply add the new contact's information.
Click the "Add Partner" button to complete the process:
You've successfully added your new contractor to your portfolio. An email will be sent to the new contractor notifying them of your interest in connecting. Our team of specialists will follow up with them to ensure a smooth and successful connection.
