  2. Add a negative finding to that inspection, and add a note to that finding.

How to Identify the Correct Risk Level

When identifying a risk level, consider the likelihood that an injury could occur and the potential severity of the outcome.

  • First Aid Case Only (Low)
  • Recordable Injury (1-5 Lost Days) (Medium)
  • >5 Lost Work Days / Significant Property Damage (High)
  • Potential for Disabling Injury or Fatality (IDLH)
