This article will walk through the steps of emailing an Inspection report and explain the sections within the Inspection report.
Emailing a Report
To send the report out to various contacts on your profile, you can click on ‘Email Report’.
Once you click the button, an email dialogue box will pop up.
- GC / Client Contacts receive the entire report.
- Subcontractor contacts only receive a report with their own findings. They cannot see findings for other contractors.
You can adjust each contact type that receives the email and also expand the contact list to view the contacts that receive the report.
If you would like to view an Inspection report before emailing your contact list, you can click on ‘View Report.’
In the Summary section, inspection-specific data is displayed.
The chart called Percentage of Positive vs Negative Findings displays ‘Project-to-date’ data.
Additional Project-to-Date charts inform recipients of project trends with each inspection report sent.
Summary of Findings
This Summary of Findings chart is inspection-specific. You can click the legend titles to change the view to display only positive or only negative findings.

If a negative note is not corrected by the due date, the assigned contractor and the inspector will receive an email notification initially and weekly thereafter.
Clicking the pencil icon opens the negative note into further detail. This allows recipients of the report to mark the negative note as corrected.
