Injury & Illness Tab for International Contractors

Introduction

This article explains the information found in the Injury & Illness tab as seen by companies located outside of Canada, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States. To successfully complete your profile and generate a Safety Score, you will need to provide the information below in the Injury & Illness tab of your Safety profile.

Enter your occupational injury details

The following information must be provided for the three most recent years. This data is factored into your Safety Score.

Number of Fatalities: Enter the total number of fatalities that occurred each year as a result of a work-related injury or illness. 

Number of Injuries Resulting in Days Away From Work: Enter the total number of work-related incidents that occurred that resulted in an employee missing one or more days of work.

Number of Injuries Without Days Away From Work: Enter the total number of work-related injuries or illnesses that occurred and required medical treatment beyond basic first aid but did not result in days away from work. 

Total Number of Days Away From Work: Enter the total number of days that employees were unable to work due to a work-related injury or illness. Weekend and non-working days must be included when calculating the number of days. 

Total Number of Employees: Enter the total number of employees that work for your company. 

Total Number of Hours Worked By All Employees:Enter the total number of hours worked by the employees that work for your company.

Verification of Your Data: After filling out all fields, you will need to verify the accuracy of the data provided. Continue to the bottom of the page and check box to verify that the data entered is true, accurate, and complete.
