CREATING A NEW INSPECTION TYPE
(AND EDITING EXISTING INSPECTION TYPES)
Create a New Inspection Type
- Navigate to the Inspect tab
- Click ‘Configure’ on the left side.
Note: The configure tab is only available to Administrators
- Click ‘Add New Inspection Type’
- Name your Inspection Type
- Select if you want to ‘Enable Pre-Planning Feature
- Click ‘Add’
ADD CATEGORIES TO ANY NEW OR EXISTING CHECKLIST
- Select the Inspection Type
- Click ‘Add New Category’
- Type the Category Name
- Click ‘Add’
ADD QUESTIONS TO ANY NEW OR EXISTING CATEGORY
- Select the category you want to add questions to.
- Type the question name
- Click ‘Add Question’
- Click ‘Close’
‘HIDE’ INSPECTION TYPES
- Click ’Hide’ if you no longer want an inspection type
HIDE CATEGORIES
- Categories and questions can only be deleted if there are zero (0) findings assigned. If you do need a category or question deleted that has findings assigned you will need to contact Highwire.
- Click the pencil icon under Action
- Read the warning and click ‘OK’
- Click ‘Hide’
- Click ‘Update’
HIDE QUESTION
- Click the category where you want to change the question.
- Read the warning and click ‘OK’
- Click ‘Hide’
- Click ‘Update’
