Introduction
This article explains the information required to complete the Injury & Illness tab for companies located in the UK. To successfully complete your profile and generate a Safety Score, you will need to provide the information below in the Injury & Illness tab of your Safety profile.
Enter your occupational injury details
The following information must be provided for the three most recent years. This data is factored into your Safety Score.
Number of fatalities: Enter the total number of fatalities that occurred each year as a result of a work-related injury or illness.
Number of injuries resulting in over-7-day incapacitation of a worker: Enter the total number of injuries that occurred each year that resulted in an employee being incapacitated for over 7 days. Per RIDDOR record keeping requirements, injuries resulting in over-7-day incapacitations must be reported to the HSE.
Number of injuries resulting in over-3-day incapacitation of a worker: Enter the total number of injuries that occurred each year that resulted in an employee being incapacitated for over 3 days. Per RIDDOR record keeping requirements, injuries resulting in over-3-day incapacitation must be recorded by your company.
Number of non lost time injuries: Enter the total number of work-related injuries that occurred each year that required medical treatment beyond basic first aid but did not result in more than 3 days of incapacitation.
Number of dangerous occurrences: Enter the total number of dangerous occurrences that occurred each year. Refer to RIDDOR reporting requirements of a list of reportable dangerous occurrences.
Total number of days of incapacitation: Enter the total number of days of incapacitation that resulted from work-related injuries. The number of days must include regular work days, weekends, and rest days per RIDDOR reporting requirements.
Total number of employees: Enter the total number of employees that work for your company.
Total number of hours worked by all employees: Enter the total number of hours worked by all employees who work for your company.
Verification of Your Data: After filling out all fields, you will need to verify the accuracy of the data provided. Continue to the bottom of the page and check box to verify that the data entered is true, accurate, and complete.
